The Rocca Sisters & Associates Social Media Community

One of the commitments we make to our clients is to always embrace the latest and hottest tools for marketing, advertising and communication in our marketplace.

Social Media in real estate is not just about posting current listings, it’s also about creating a connection with our neighbours on many levels – the Rocca Sisters & Associates have an amazing online presence.

On a daily basis we are active and connecting through Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and our Rocca Sisters & Associates Blog.

As a seller/buyer, choosing a real estate team that utilizes Social Media will give you the additional exposure and access to key information through the online communities we have built.

This network allows us to market our properties, share ideas with people and create opportunities where possibilities are endless for our clients. Larger global companies are also moving toward social media campaigns, limiting television marketing and shifting their direction to the world of social media as a primary communication tool.

  • Did you know that 90% of buyers start their search online and have normally already seen the house online that they want to purchase?

They then book the appointment to view the house in person to formalize the process. At the Rocca Sisters office we know that 70% of buyers will walk through a home viewed online. That is why we post our virtual tours and videos on our website, and on our YouTube channel “theroccasisters”. We give our clients the advantage of exposure through social media.

  • On average Facebook has 728 million daily active users, LinkedIn has 259 million. Why wouldn’t you use an agent who gives you that kind of exposure?
  • 52% of first-time buyers started their search online.

Social Media is the newest form of communication and with exponential growth, it is here to stay. The Rocca Sisters & Associates know that the market is always changing and so should your marketing plans. We “LIKE” what social media adds in terms of value to our seller’s and buyer’s experience with our team, and we know our clients do too.

For more information on our hottest new marketing methods, call or email us, or even better, go to our website and check out our Social Media and become part of our community. There is a Rocca Sisters & Associates community awaiting you one click away

Celebrating Labour Day Weekend

cottageThe last long weekend of summer is upon us and offers a great variety of things to do in our community to celebrate Labour Day. Royal Botanical Gardens will be holding a Teddy Bear Picnic August 29 and 30 full of fun teddy bear themed activities including meeting a life sized teddy and scavenger hunt!

If you are looking for a guaranteed good time during the weekend, make sure to visit Burlington’s 20th annual Ribfest, the largest in Canada! Every year, the Burlington, Oakville and surrounding areas are able to sample some of the best ribs in North America. Last year over 175,000 visitors attended the event organized by the Rotary Club of Burlington Lakeshore, and in the past 19 years over $3 million has been raised for local, national, and international charities.

The event takes place from Thursday September 3rd to Monday September 7th, 2015 at Spencer Smith Park in Burlington. Come on out and join the Rocca Sisters & Associates for some ribs!

Don’t forget the Museums of Burlington’s Applefest Fall Fair, an old-fashioned FREE fall fair right here in the city! On Sunday, September 27 from 11am to 4pm, join our team as we sponsor this event, at Ireland House at Oakridge Farm (2168 Guelph Line) and celebrate everything the season has to offer!

From our family to yours, have a safe and happy holiday weekend and please be cautious watching for children crossing next week!
