A wonderland of holiday magic at this year’s Holiday House Tour

For those who love holiday decorating, there are few things that gladden the heart more than a beautiful home beautifully adorned. This past weekend, from Friday, November 11 through Sunday, November 13, a few noteworthy homes opened their doors to the public as part of the Junior League of Hamilton-Burlington’s 34th annual Holiday House Tour of Distinctive Homes.

It was a fun, fascinating look inside three private homes, variously bedecked for the season. The Rocca Sisters & Associates were honoured to sponsor this year’s House Tour and were on hand to guide and assist guests throughout the three-day event. Attendees received a free tote bag, compliments of the Rocca Sisters & Associates.

Visitors were inspired by unique ideas gleaned from the creativity of the many talented, professional designers who decorated the distinctive homes. And this year, not only were visitors delighted to see beautiful homes decked in a wonderland of holiday magic, but they also got ideas of different ways to renovate. Each of the homes on tour had undergone very recent major renovations that surprised and delighted its many admirers. The annual Holiday House Tour of Distinctive Homes generates funds to carry out the mission and purpose of the Junior League of Hamilton-Burlington: developing the potential of women, improving the community and promoting voluntarism.

We hope you can join us at the City of Burlington’s Christmas Parade, taking place on Sunday, December 4. The parade starts at 2 p.m. at the corner of Prospect Street and Guelph Line and is by far a community favorite! This year, The Rocca Sisters and Associates will also be participating in the Flamborough Santa Claus Parade taking place on Saturday, November 26 from 6:30 pm.

Help us fill the streets with joy and be sure to wave “hello” to the Rocca Sisters’ Team as we parade on by with Santa and other local businesses!
